Lily Born is an ambitious young lady. At age 9, she invented and designed an unspillable cup, created for her grandfather who has Parkinson’s and was often spilling his drinks. She took her invention to Kickstarter, called it the “Kangaroo Cup” and raised enough funds to mass produce it.

Now the 11-year-old Ms. Born is back on Kickstarter with a revised cup design, having changed the material from ceramic to “unbreakable” plastic. She hopes Kangaroo Cup 2.0 will be an even bigger hit than its predecessor.
